An accused should be removed from their post, to ensure no tampering of evidence can happen. Anyone closely related would similarly be excused. A direct claim has been laid against my sister... and another implied against me. It's rational, even if you harbor no question of my innocence, to proceed this way. To do so proves your lack of favoritism, and your commitment to the pursuit of justice.
