but Gepard's answer soothes his anxiety, just a little. enough that he can relax for just a moment more, to forget who they are in duty alone. there's still the worry that the next lord will demand Gepard to stay with the guard. that Gepard will be out of reach of him, that they won't have moments like this ever again. of course, this is him overthinking things, as usual; as much as he would like to stay in the present, Dohalim can't help but think of the uncertainties of the future]
